I would love to be a pc gamer but you’ve ignored an important reason for gamers not to play through PCs, that is the know how?!!!
As I said, I want to be a pc gamer, but tell me which pc to buy? what matters when buying a pc? every how many days, months or years do i need to upgrade my hardware? just a lot of unanswered questions every time I consider playing through a pc.

the above comment was posted me on your hating the pc article.

However, am here to ask for your help on letting me into the pc gaming world. I own the PS3, xbox 360 and recently bought the wii to enjoy few games like metroid prime and zelda. But I really want to enjoy some games on the PC such as crysis and the upcoming diablo 3. I just don’t know where to start!!
What pc should I buy? should I consider a laptop instead? am i going to ply with a mouse and a key bored or I need a console controller or depending on what kind of game will I play? controllers? Plus all the questions asked in the above comment.

I would really appreciate your help.

    Regards,
    Ageel

Kind of the wrong place to post this, but i’ll do my very best to help you out.

If you can give me a rough budget that you’re prepared to spend up to, I can look into appropriate PC/ Laptop rigs to start you off, and then necessary or helpful upgrades. As a rule of thumb, although laptops can be used for PC gaming – desktops generally give you more for your money.

I’ll write something more substantial soon!
      Thanks for the enquiry,

      Nick~

My budget is between 1000-1200 quid, I’ve considered a laptop but according to my knowledge a PC is better because I can upgrade the hardware. Can u tell if my budget well get me an average, decent or a powerful machine?
